I know. Its like when they made Children of Dune into that tv movie on Syfy and explained the whole conspiracy in the first twenty minutes like idiots.

Maybe they fear being Firefly-ed?

An FBI agent decides to start a resistance with a priest. Right. Why not start it with a Dunkin Donuts employee of the month?

I think somebody told the producers of V they were on the verge of being cancelled. I mean they introduced the resistance in the pilot. Jeez.

I guess they did not want to put out a double disc for the DVD. The studio did think people would care about the film enough for extras. Big oversight but it saved them money.

All the people that have seen it say its good. Haven't read any reports about people that have seen Avatar yet though.
Most people are suckers for trailers. They can show you the best of a film and none of its flaws.

This trailer is pretty awesome, but I can't tell if it's actually going to be good. Same goes for the new Avatar trailer. The trailers actually give me goosebumps, but am I just a sucker for trailers?

the movie was terrific the dvd was a let down
they only have the seasons greetings as a special feature!
NOTHING ELSE! not even a commentary for the movie!
just seasons greetings with optional commentary on that.
seasons greetings is terrific but its not fair blu ray got everything!
ugh i have to wait for christmas to view the special features since thats when im getting one! ugh lol but movie is amazing.

I enjoyed how they used sign language during the ending for the film during the "stalk" sequence.

Surprise Party was my favorite as well. I do not own the DVD yet so I have not listened to any of the commentary tracks. :(

I was rooting for "special needs" Rhonda during School Bus Revisited.

EXACTLY!! How the hell could a miner beat up two aliens brought up in a warriors society? First they are trained since birth to be warriors and soldiers. They are taught hand to hand combat and weapons before they are probably ten. Their entire existence is about soldiering and a miner takes them out? Please.

And why would they bring hand guns into a prison cell? In no prison in America are corrections officers allowed hand guns inside the actual prison. Why? Because the prisoners might over power them and use them on them.

I watched this earlier this week and really got a kick out of it. The only story that bugged me was the School Bus Revisited (only slightly logistically), esp when I saw a deleted scene which seemed to imply that Rhonda wasn't supposed to join the group. I should have taken time to listen to commentary for that arc. Still, it was a very minor quibble for an overall solid horror movie.

I LOVED the Surprise Party, hands down the best.

I saw that clip a few days ago. It is badass, but it begs the question how does a Romulan mine worker manage to beat the hell out of three Klingon warriors? Maybe it's explained better in the full clip. Then again, I never needed to know why Ahnold or Sly were able to best every trained assassin, so what should I expect.
